Certificates are automatically generated when you complete a course that has a certificate template configured by your organization.
View Your Certificates#
- Sign in and go to My Learning → Certificates.
- A list of all earned certificates is displayed, sorted by date.
- Each certificate shows the course name, completion date, and expiry (if applicable).
Download a Certificate as PDF#
- On the Certificates page, find the certificate you want.
- Click Download.
- The certificate downloads as a PDF to your browser's default download location.
Share a Certificate#
Each certificate has a unique public verification URL:
- Click Share next to the certificate.
- Copy the verification link or click the LinkedIn icon to post directly to your LinkedIn profile.
- Anyone with the link can view and verify the certificate — no SkillStream account required.
Verify a Certificate#
To verify someone else's certificate:
- Go to
skillstreamlms.com/verify-certificateon the public website. - Enter the certificate ID (printed on the certificate) or paste the verification URL.
- The verification page shows the recipient's name, course title, completion date, and issuing organization.
Certificate Expiry#
Some certificates have an expiry date set by your organization. Expired certificates:
- Are still visible in your Certificates list.
- Are marked "Expired" with the expiry date.
- Cannot be re-downloaded until you re-complete the associated training.
Certificates Are Missing#
If you completed a course but see no certificate:
- The course may not have a certificate configured. Contact your administrator to check.
- Ensure the course shows 100% progress in My Learning → Progress. Certificates are only issued after all lessons and assessments are completed.
- If you recently completed the course, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.
